The Durrow Scarecrow Festival July 24th – August 1st

The Durrow Scarecrow Festival is back, after a two year break. You can enjoy nine full days of  scarecrows galore and fun for all the family.

The beautiful Georgian village of Durrow, Co. Laois, hosts the All Ireland Scarecrow Festival and although the deadline has passed for you to enter a scarecrow of your own, you can go along and have a look at the village, and see if you can pick the winners.

It’s not just all about the scarecrows though, you can also enjoy:

The Food and Craft Fair – this is a week-end event taking place on Sunday 24th, Saturday 30th July, Sunday 31st July and Monday 1st August.

Live Music – enjoy a variety of live music, including a drumming workshop and a children’s talent show.

Children can enjoy the Europe’s largest bouncy castle – The Miami Slide in The FUNky Zone, the Scarecrow Maze, the Lego exhibition, and the playground.
